We made a 150+ year old brand relatable by creating a fun, interactive bus shelter experience featuring their famous mascot. Millionnaires sardines have been a Canadian staple for over a century. On scanning the ad with a smartphone, a curtain drops over it. This is followed by a peek into all the amazing things that the mascot, Mr. Millionnaires, has been doing over the years, as well as a showcase of some all-time favourite recipes that Millionnaires fans have been making and enjoying.
To make a splash for the launch of the Ocean’s TikTok account, we built an interactive AR game filter that allowed users to collect plastic waste within the game. But wait, there’s more! For every game played, Ocean’s also collected 1kg of ocean-bound plastic in the real world. Entertainment meets Environmental Conservation like never before.
These effective results enabled us to create yet another filter, one that celebrates the work Ocean’s does together with the consumer – this is Phase 2 in a three year marketing roadmap.
