Find out how environmental tech company Midori-Bio broke through the noise with their branding which embraced the Japanese art of simplicity.

How can a biotech with a truly ground-breaking innovation stand out in the noise of endless technical jargon in the complicated category of recycling?

They lean into their name (which means ”green” in Japanese) and embraced an idea around the Japanese concept of “Kanso”; the act of embracing simplicity and eliminating complexity.

We took the simple shape of a circle, the basic form of molecules, and broke them down to create a new and open figure. Not a fixed graphic but an abstract ideaogram; a mutable form that can be a window, lens, or frame – for the unique vision of Midori.

Thank you.
